The Hawthorne Hideaway

Positive: Great location. Very cute inside and comfortable. Negative: Needed more dark towels for bathroom. A few more coffee mugs would be nice to reduce need to wash frequently.

I think had the property been cleaned and the bed changed, trash emptied, shower cleaned, it would have been a better experience. The bed clearly had not been changed, previous guest towels hanging in bathroom, trash not emptied, shower had mold and hair wad. When we contacted the host, they said we could get bedding next door and change the bed sheets or someone could come the next day. So we changed our bedding. Someone did come and clean the next day while we were out having breakfast and the place was clean. WiFi was good. Location was good. The rest of our stay was fine. For check in, it would have been nice to know there was a gate before the property that had a lock on it. We figured it out, but it threw us off. Property management may want to know, the bathroom sink doesn’t drain well.

The quiet neighborhood street just off Hawthorne was perfect, and the amenities in the space were well thought out. Super friendly team, great communication, detailed notebook thought of every question.

I loved staying in this tiny house! The tall roof, sky lights, and many windows made it feel spacious and delightful. Easy street parking, close to Hawthorn St. shopping, no stairs to climb - perfect for me. Well-equipped and very comfortable.
